What A Great Idea 2.0

This is one of my favorite books on the topic of creativity.Author Chic Thompson believes that everyone can be more creative — and in this book he lays out a plan to make it happen. In the book he addresses what creativity is and some of the origins of creativity. Thompson includes techniques to harness your ingenuity , resolve creative roadblocks in the workplace, and to deal with those “devils advocates” who kill innovation.

My Take On The Book

Business aren’t just machines of mechanical laws that work like a clock. Businesses are more like living organisms with many different functions that depend on each other for growth and survival. Business life is about adoption, invention, flexibility and fewer rules and regulations based on industrial models that don’t convert well into the age of service, information and technology. So, regardless of how we “get creative” it’s an important part of everything that we do in business and life in general.
